Q1 Client Project Round-Up: OMS in Action
We are slowly but surely getting through the mid-winter blues in Chicago with some seriously cool client projects. The last quarter at Outlook Marketing has been a busy one (can anyone believe it’s already March?!), and we’ve been working hard on a number of new initiatives. Below, you will find details on projects we’ve helped support including: a new industry report, an engaging email campaign and a multi-pronged thought leadership program for a client serving one of the most important industries right now —healthcare.
Fleet Technology Trends Report
Client: Verizon Connect
Recently, we helped our client Verizon Connect create content around and promote their latest Fleet Technology Trends Report. The report, based on survey results from more than 700 U.S. fleet managers, executives and other fleet management industry stakeholders, provides detailed insights into the value companies are achieving from their fleet technology investments.
Verizon Connect’s reports over the last three years show that commercial fleets continue to leverage telematics technology to build resilience and improve their business performance. We gleaned key data points from the reports that indicate benefits for commercial fleets include productivity gains, streamlined ELD compliance, enhanced customer service and a reduction in operational costs. CDW Supports Small business & VC With Email Nurturing Campaign
Client: CDW
Throughout 2020, CDW recognized the unique challenges small businesses and venture capital-funded startups faced. As a result, they asked us to create a campaign to address the need. The goal? Emphasize how CDW can help these organizations navigate technology and raise awareness of key capabilities and solutions. We helped them design a customized email nurture campaign and all messaging and content development. Some of the messages we featured include: how to maximize technology resources, what it’s like to work with CDW (case study video) and key services and perks for small businesses and startups. For startups in particular, we also aligned content to CDW’s deep understanding of each stage of startup growth. The campaigns received high engagement, and we are continuing to optimize and refine both campaign design and campaign content, as well as consider further nurturing to the engaged audiences in these industry segments.
MedCraft Thought Leadership Campaign Helps Healthcare Providers Evaluate Retail Space
Client: MedCraft Healthcare Real Estate
The pandemic’s impact is rippling across multiple industries in lasting and unexpected ways. One of the most profound effects is on brick-and-mortar retailers as more consumers turn to online shopping. Today’s surplus of vacant big box retail stores that once had an established presence in prime real estate locations has created a new opportunity for healthcare providers.
Client MedCraft Healthcare Real Estate — a national leader in the development, financing and management of ambulatory care and medical office buildings — helps its healthcare clients to evaluate the pros and cons of repurposing vacant retail structures into medical spaces. Seeing an opportunity to educate providers, MedCraft collaborated with Outlook and our partner, C-Suite Resources, to position the company as a thought-leader on this topic.
Our multi-pronged marketing program involved a carefully orchestrated strategy. First, we secured a placement in the industry’s premier publication — ASHE’s Healthcare Facilities Management. They published MedCraft’s bylined white paper, reaching 70,000 decision-makers online and in print. We then supported the author in presenting a free webinar attracting 95 registrants, 69 attendees and 31 on-demand views. We created an accompanying blog, email campaign and social media posts which drove even more interest; MedCraft received multiple leads resulting in high quality conversations.
