Fall Client Project Round-Up: OMS in Action

Client Projects

It’s cooling off in Chicago as fall arrives, but at Outlook our keyboards are hot from the awesome client projects we’ve been working on! We can’t believe we’re already heading into the holiday season and wrapping up a fantastic year. In this post, we’re featuring some of our recent client projects. Below is a messaging project for a nonprofit, a high-impact public relations program, and two multi-channel integrated marketing campaigns in healthcare and technology. All of which include our specialties of content strategy and execution, social media, and PR.

Nonprofit Connections Make Stronger External Communications

Client: Forward Steps

As part of our focus on supporting nonprofit organizations, Outlook partnered with Forward Steps and Realizing Aptitudes to develop new messaging to support the combined organization. The project included conducting interviews with key stakeholders from each organization, student mentors, career coaches, community partners, and donors. The new messaging will be used as Forward Steps rolls out updated communications tools and external-facing marketing materials to scholars, donors, and community partners.

Integrated Campaign Raises Awareness of Hospital Drug Diversion

Client: LogicStream Health

Hundreds of hospital pharmacists and other healthcare leaders tuned into a virtual panel discussion on the fight against drug diversion. It was sponsored by our client, LogicStream Health™ who partnered with Becker’s Hospital Review. The webinar experts discussed strategies to curb the misuse of opioids and other controlled substances, which poses serious risks to a hospital’s patients, clinicians and reputation.

The Drug Diversion App from LogicStream Health is a SaaS technology that helps healthcare providers detect and prevent drug diversion incidents. This app is part of a larger suite of pharmacy solutions and clinical process improvement capabilities offered by LogicStream Health. The company turned to Outlook Marketing to raise awareness of this critical issue to further extend the audience reach pre, during, and post-event.

Our integrated marketing campaign involved multiple components – content strategy and execution, public relations, and social media. Patrick Yoder, PharmD, LogicStream Health’s CEO, was interviewed by Drug Topics for a two-part video podcast that aired prior to the webinar. The publication ran a feature following the event, and Pharmacy Times published a bylined article from Patrick Yoder. Outlook collaborated with LogicStream Health to craft blogs and social media posts to reach online influencers and expand visibility. Within the webinar, we surveyed participants on drug diversion challenges and opportunities, which created more digital content.

Campaign metrics were very powerful, yielding 616 webinar registrants, 301 attendees, and 162 resource downloads (LogicStream Health content). As a result, our client received 20 leads from attendees who wanted more information about The Drug Diversion App. Proactive media outreach and thought-leadership placements reached an additional 640,000 decision-makers. Comprehensive IPO Media Relations

Client: Alkami

This spring, Outlook had the privilege of embarking on an exciting path with our stellar client Alkami as they prepared for their initial public offering on April 15. We created a project roadmap and a comprehensive media relations plan for the IPO. This included advanced outreach centered around Listing Day to national business and financial press (print and broadcast). We also spread the word to local Dallas business press, financial services trade, and other technology publications. We traveled to New York City to join them at NASDAQ as they rang the closing bell on the trading floor, and even viewed the Alkami logo (and employee photos!) on the big screens in Times Square.

In addition to ongoing support following the IPO, Outlook continues to manage and execute a proactive earned media program. This program focuses on national business and financial trade media—including content support such as case studies. Alkami has a deep bench of successful financial services clients, and we are excited to help tell all of their stories.

It’s always thrilling to provide comprehensive support for a client during a liquidity event. We relish the opportunity to function as an extension of the core marketing team. Congratulations to Alkami on a successful IPO and a great 2021 thus far!

Integrated Media & Content Campaign: Mobile Print Labeling Technology Supports COVID-19 Testing & Vaccination Needs

Client: Brother

During the height of the pandemic, we helped our client Brother Mobile Solutions create an integrated marketing program. This program showcased its mobile print labeling technology, which is helping healthcare organizations meet the growing demand for mobile COVID testing and vaccinations across the US and Canada. The marketing included Content Development for a website Blog, a Brother News Release, as well as Earned Media Outreach to trade publications in the healthcare industry.

The Earned Media program resulted in nearly 6000 total views from the BusinessWire dissemination of the release. It also generated a key placement in the industry with Clinical Lab Manager Magazine. The article is currently being extended into a Lead-Gen Campaign that Brother is working on with the publication. The campaign will include a series of emails targeted to key buyer personas within this target industry.
